I've implemented more countermeasures to combat trackback spam. IP Filtering, Domain Filtering, and Keyword filtering using the following implementation here.
I slightly modified the script so that it doesn't block comments, since the comments are blocked by CAPTCHA technology, but other than that it remains implemented. Let's see how this works out over the next few days as I'm sure I'll need to add more filters. I accidentally deleted all the trackback spam BEFORE collecting some filter data.
