I've been searching for this one for a long time, apparently not long enough as I just found it today. This is a driver to allow you to use the Steel Battalion XBOX controller on your PC. Yes, I own this game. Both versions, the single player and the XBOX Live Line of Contact.

This is some pretty cool stuff. For those of you that always wanted to use two joysticks in an application that didn't support it, or combine multiple devices for use in a game that wouldn't support multiple input devices... this might be your ticket to freedom.

From the site:

FranknStik defines a virtual game device and allows you give it life by mapping physical game device input to its components from a single or multiple game devices.  You then select the virtual device in the game as you would a physical device.  FranknStik will work with any combination of USB and game port devices.  As long as you can see the device listed under the Windows game controller panel, it should be usable.  Uses include: piloting mechs with 2 hands instead of one, utilizing an existing second controller as a throttle stick for flight sims, freeing your hands from the KB/mouse first person shooter standard by using multiple joysticks or using a joystick in combination with the mouse.”

So, last night I tried out Community Server 1.0 last night. In this case, the sum is larger than the parts. I don't think I'll make the jump to it, although an integrated Gallery and Blog sight really interests me it seems to currently be missing features I enjoy (although not to their full extent) in .Text and nGallery. For instance, while the blog site can be skinned, the Gallery and Forums do not have skins...at least, not as easily enabled as the blog site does. I don't really need forums but in the future, if I do, I'll give it some consideration. Also, there is no upgrade path from .Text and nGallery so I would have needed to start over from scratch. I just didn't have it in me last night to take on that type of undertaking so I backed out the changes and well...here I am...back to the old site.
