From an article on Arstechnica. I have to love the last paragraph:
“In other news, I hear that it's a proven fact that Hezbollah gets some of their money from people who sell gasoline on the open market, right out in front of God and everybody. But don't expect Congress to trumpet that particular terrorist connection, much less use it as a pretext to go on the warpath against gasoline usage. “
Now I don't buy pirated DVDs myself, I guess I just haven't looked hard enough for them but I am so tired of the “Terrorist” trump card myself. Do I want to live in a safer world? Yes.
Not to change the subject greatly but tell me again why North Korea's Pyongyang who openly admits to Nuclear capability, starves his citizens and arrests and imprisons them by the millions is still a free man. For all of the trouble in Iraq, it seems to me that a country that waves a flag with the words “We have Nukes” in our face is about as close to “Having weapons of mass destruction” as we can get. Considering that a large pretext of the Iraqi war was based on WMDs, and the fact that Saddam's regime was overly oppressive, I believe North Korea was and still is much more of a threat than Iraq.
