Perhaps it is that in the few places I've accidentally ordered a plate which included this cheese, they have provided it with something of less than satisfactory quality, however I have come to believe that of the cheeses I have eaten, Roquefort is by far the worst.
Personally, of the two times I have had the distaste of putting it in my mouth, this cheese reminds no less than of Blue Cheese soaked in Turpentine.
