So, I've been down and out for the count for the last week and a half. My downward spiral started Saturday March 5th with what felt like a cold or flu coming on. By Sunday I felt like I had been hit by a truck. Wednesday I headed to the Urgent Care, I was dizzy, de-hydrated and lethargic.They put me on Amoxicilin, the all purpose anti-biotic.
Thursday night a lot of the head pain left after I discharged a bunch of nasal fluid. Fun Fun!
By the following Tuesday I still wasn't feeling well. I had major chest pain, coughing up nothing but a storm and my head was still slightly aching. I went to my personal Doctor and she prescribed a cocktail of Zithromax (antibiotic), Prednisone (steroid) and Guaifenesin in pill form.
It's thursday now and I just about feel normal short of the hoarseness in my voice and an occassional coughing spat brought on by talking. Hopefully I'll be back to normal by next week.
